Brooklyn Rapper SIIMBA SELASSIIE Releases Music Video “BES’MAM”

Ethiopian-American artist SIIMBA SELASSIIE (formerly known as Siimba Liives Long). Debuted via The FADER, “BES’MAM” follows SELASSIIE’S recent critically acclaimed single “Patiently” with his group Splash Brothers that includes Allan Kingdom, Topaz Jones, KAMAU, and brother Haile Supreme. If this is your first encounter with SIIMBA SELASSIIE, the Brooklyn-based musician was born in New York, and raised in a myriad of places from Ethiopia to Washington DC to New Jersey. His debut music video, “Cocaine Biimbie,” made quite the splash among critics and featured the emcee return to his Ethiopian roots to play quite literally play with lions and eat fire.
